Dan Kean
was born and raised in Southern California and
currently resides in Anaheim, California with his wife,
Whitney. He is a self-proclaimed “sports-nut.” As a Cal
“homer” he is a die-hard Lakers, Angels, and Dodgers
fan. His earliest memories include waking up at 6:00 am
to beat his brothers and dad to the newspaper so he
could read the sports section first. He has always loved
following sports and the way that the wins and losses
are so analogous to life’s own defeats and victories.
Dan attended the University of California, Irvine
where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics with a
Specialization in International Issues, as well as a
minor in Management. During his undergraduate career,
Dan actively involved himself in leading others in
Under-graduate Business Association, Anteater Mentorship
Program, and Community Service Funding Board. His role
as Vice President of Membership Development, and later
as President, of Sigma Phi Epsilon was characterized by
his restructuring of the fraternity’s development plan
to not only include personal growth and scholarship, but
also personal values and service to others. Devoted to
that renewed purpose for the fraternity, Dan planned and
participated in a number of community service events
throughout his years in leadership.
After graduation, Dan continued his studies, this
time in order to earn his Series 7 and Series 66
licenses, as well as his Life and Health Insurance
license. After gaining valuable experience in financial
planning and client relations during his employment at a
Fortune 500 Financial Firm, Dan joined BondStreet Wealth
Management as an Investment Advisor Representative in
September 2011. He is focused on driving client growth
and analysis in Southern California for BondStreet with
an office in Orange, CA.
